Railings, balustrades & stairs — frequently asked questions
Which material is best for railings in a coastal villa?
SS316 stainless steel, polished or PVD-coated. Jeddah's salty air stains SS304 and plain steel over time; SS316 keeps its finish with simple cleaning.
Can railings be PVD-coated in gold or black?
Yes. Handrails and balustrades in stainless steel are PVD-coated in champagne gold, rose gold, bronze or black in our own facility. PVD is hard enough for daily hand contact without lacquer.
Do you supply and install the railings?
Yes. We measure on site, prepare shop drawings, fabricate and finish in Jeddah, then install with our own team so that fixings, levels and joints are handled by the people who made the parts.
How are feature staircases engineered?
Stringers, treads and balustrades are drawn in 3D from site measurements, checked for loads and deflection with the project consultant, and produced as a numbered kit that is assembled on site.
